Bid Protest Results In Another Bite At The Apple For The Client

Our latest bid protest before GAO resulted in yet another agency- this time the VA- taking corrective action in favor of our client. Rather than defend the protest, the agency decided to terminate the awardee and re-evaluate proposals, including that of our client. As we have often noted, such corrective action is a frequently-overlooked benefit of filing a bid protest. Although the number of bid protests that result in a GAO decision sustaining the protest is not high in percentage terms, a much higher percentage of protests results in some sort of agency corrective action.
